School Programs

Tobatana's school programs are tailored to meet your needs and interests.  We are available to come to your school and do a variety of workshops and performances ranging from an educational  performance for the entire school to public performances for your community to an  "Artist in Residence’ program in which your students are immersed in Zimbabwean-style marimba and conclude their studies with their own performance. 

In all of our educational  performances and workshops, we introduce students to the wide variety of instruments that we play; discuss African cultures, history, current events, and the role that music plays in the daily lives of its people; and create a community atmosphere in which all are participants and all learn together.
